Scope and relationship to store terms

These Terms apply to Math Riddles on iOS, iPadOS and Android from the effective date above. By using the app, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the app; existing refund rights and mandatory consumer rights remain available.

The iOS application license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms supplement that license with Math Riddles service and purchase rules and do not replace it with a custom iOS EULA. Applicable store terms govern distribution, platform accounts and payment. Mandatory legal rights take priority over conflicting terms.

Eligibility, permission and responsible use

You must have the capacity required by applicable law to enter this agreement. Where guardian consent or supervision is required, a parent or guardian should review these Terms and supervise use and purchases. Please protect your device and platform account and use available purchase approval and parental controls where appropriate.

Subject to these Terms and applicable store rules, you may use Math Riddles for personal, non-commercial play on supported devices you own or control. We and our licensors retain rights in the software, design, artwork, text and other protected content.

Do not unlawfully copy or redistribute the app, sell access to it, bypass purchase verification or security measures, interfere with services, manipulate advertising rewards or leaderboard results, or infringe another person’s rights. Restrictions on modification or reverse engineering apply only to the extent allowed by law and do not override open-source licenses or statutory exceptions.

Gameplay, scores and local progress

Core puzzles can be played offline. Advertising, rewarded videos, iOS purchases and platform leaderboards or achievements may require an internet connection and an available third-party service. Features and puzzle collections can differ by platform, app version, region and device.

Scores, including any score labeled IQ, are gameplay indicators for entertainment. They are not a standardized assessment of intelligence or a guarantee of educational results.

Progress, settings and coin balances are mainly stored on your device. Clearing data, removing the app, changing devices or restoring a backup can affect them. Game Center and Google Play Games scores are not a complete save-file backup. Automatic transfer between devices or between iOS and Android is not provided as a Gude Labs cloud-save service.

Advertising and rewarded coins

Math Riddles contains interstitial advertisements and optional rewarded videos in supported versions. A reward depends on the offer displayed and the advertising service confirming that its completion conditions were met. An interrupted or unavailable video may not grant a reward. Contact us if you believe a completed reward was not credited.

Advertisements and linked destinations are provided by advertisers and their services. Opening an ad may take you outside the app and other terms may then apply. We do not endorse every advertised product. You can report inappropriate or misleading ads to us with information that helps identify them.

Coins, iOS purchases and restoration limits

Coins are in-app credits used for hints or answers as described in the app. They are consumed when used, have no cash value, and cannot be traded, transferred to another player or exchanged for money. This does not limit applicable refund or consumer rights.

The iOS version offers optional consumable coin packs through Apple In-App Purchase. The purchase screen shows the quantity, price, currency and applicable terms before confirmation. Each pack is an individual purchase and does not renew automatically. Coin delivery depends on successful purchase verification. The Android version provides coins through its available in-app reward features; an iOS coin purchase does not create an Android entitlement.

Coin packs are consumable purchases, and Math Riddles does not offer a Restore Purchases feature for them. Already consumed coins cannot be restored. Unspent coins are recorded locally, and a store purchase record alone does not recreate a lost local balance. Reinstalling the app or using a different device may therefore affect access to that balance.

If a payment succeeded but the coins were not credited, contact us so we can investigate the transaction and available remedies. Completing an unfinished verified transaction is different from restoring previously spent coins. These local-storage and restoration limits do not exclude remedies that applicable law requires for paid content.

Refunds and purchase problems

Apple processes the iOS coin purchases described above. Refund eligibility and procedures depend on applicable law and Apple’s policies. You can request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service. These Terms do not make every purchase non-refundable or remove a remedy required by law.

For missing coins or another purchase problem, email zach@gudelabs.com with your platform, app version, a description of the issue and, when needed, an order reference. Please do not send your account password or full payment-card details. We can help investigate but cannot change every aspect of a store account or guarantee a store refund decision.

Privacy and platform services

Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, advertising, analytics, purchases, platform game information and your choices. Accepting these Terms does not provide separate consent required by privacy law or platform rules.

Apple Game Center, Google Play Games, app stores, advertising services and destinations you choose to visit have their own applicable terms and privacy policies. Some features depend on their availability and account settings. Gude Labs remains responsible for its own legal obligations.

App updates and ending use

We may update Math Riddles to fix problems, improve the experience or respond to platform and legal changes. Compatibility and optional connected services may change. We will provide notice where required and meet applicable obligations for paid content. These Terms do not permit us to arbitrarily remove purchased content without any remedy the law requires.

You may stop using the app at any time. Serious misuse, fraud, security concerns or legal requirements may lead to proportionate restrictions on relevant services or termination of the use license, with notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate. Accrued rights and obligations, including relevant privacy retention requirements, are unaffected.

Service expectations and legal protections

We work to provide a reliable app, but cannot guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, compatible with every device or free from errors. Protect your device and use available backup options with an understanding of their limits.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without additional guarantees beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer guarantees, liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or remedies for failure to deliver paid content as required by law. These Terms do not impose a blanket waiver of claims or mandatory arbitration.

Contact, disputes and changes to these Terms

For a question or dispute, contact zach@gudelabs.com and we will try to resolve it fairly. Applicable law determines your statutory rights and the courts or dispute-resolution bodies with jurisdiction. These Terms do not remove a mandatory right to bring a claim where you live.

We will update the effective date when revising these Terms and provide additional notice or seek acceptance where required. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued purchase rights or replace required privacy consent. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.

English and Simplified Chinese versions are intended to have the same meaning. Contact us about any inconsistency; your mandatory legal rights are preserved in either language.
