These Terms explain your use of Maze — Classic Puzzle Game, including its game features, advertising and optional purchases. Please read them before using the app or buying a feature.

Scope and your agreement
These Terms apply to Maze on iOS, iPadOS and Android from the effective date above. By using the app, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the app; this does not remove any existing refund or consumer rights.
For the iOS version, the application license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms supplement that license with information about Maze’s service and purchases; they are not a replacement custom iOS EULA. The applicable store terms also govern distribution, accounts and payments. Mandatory legal rights take priority if a provision conflicts with them.
Eligibility and responsible use
You must be able to enter this agreement under the law that applies to you. Where guardian consent or supervision is required, a parent or guardian must review these Terms and supervise use and purchases. A store content rating does not replace those requirements.
You are responsible for protecting your device and platform account and for purchases you authorize. Use the parental controls, purchase approval and account security options provided by your platform where appropriate.
Permission to use Maze
Subject to these Terms and applicable store license rules, you may use Maze for personal, non-commercial entertainment on supported devices you own or control. We and our licensors retain rights in the app’s software, design, artwork, text and other protected content.
Do not unlawfully copy or redistribute the app, sell access to it, bypass purchase verification or security measures, interfere with its services, manipulate advertising rewards or leaderboard results, or use it to infringe another person’s rights. Restrictions on modification or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not override applicable open-source licenses or statutory exceptions.
Gameplay, local progress and availability
Core maze puzzles can be played offline. Advertising, rewarded hints, purchases, purchase restoration and platform scores or achievements can require an internet connection and an available third-party service. Features and level collections can differ by platform, version, region and device.
Game progress and settings are mainly stored on your device. Removing the app, clearing its data, changing devices or using a backup can affect that progress. A Game Center or Google Play Games score is not a complete save-file backup. We do not guarantee automatic progress transfer between devices or between iOS and Android.
Hints and any in-game balances are features for use inside Maze. They have no cash value, are not a bank balance and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another player unless an expressly provided feature allows it.
Advertising and rewarded hints
Maze contains advertising, including automatic interstitials in supported versions and optional videos that can provide hint rewards. Rewards depend on the offer displayed and the advertising service confirming the required completion. An interrupted or unavailable ad may not produce a reward; contact us if you believe a completed reward was not granted.
Third-party advertisements and destinations are provided by advertisers and their services. Opening an ad can take you outside Maze, where other terms apply. We do not endorse every advertised product. You can report an inappropriate or misleading ad to us with details that help identify it.
Remove Ads: what your purchase includes
Where offered, Remove Ads is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It removes the automatic interstitial advertisements covered by that offer while the entitlement is valid. Optional rewarded hint videos remain available. The purchase does not promise unlimited hints, removal of every optional advertisement, or an end to analytics and advertising-SDK processing described in the Privacy Policy.
The store displays the price, currency and applicable purchase details before you confirm. The store processes payment. Purchase availability and taxes depend on the store and your region. We do not independently charge a recurring fee for the current Remove Ads product.
A valid purchase is associated with the store account and platform used to buy it. On iOS, use Restore Purchases in Maze’s settings with the original Apple Account. On Android, use the purchasing Google Play account and any purchase recovery options offered by your version, or contact us for help. Do not assume that a purchase transfers between Apple and Google or that Family Sharing is available unless the store explicitly states it.
A refunded, revoked or otherwise invalid transaction may no longer unlock the feature. Restoring a purchase restores the supported entitlement, not necessarily local game progress or hint balances.
Refunds and purchase support
Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law and the store’s rules. For App Store purchases, use Apple’s refund process. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play’s refund process or contact us as appropriate. These Terms do not make every purchase non-refundable or limit a remedy that the law requires.
For purchase problems, email zach@gudelabs.com with your platform, app version, a description and the relevant order reference if needed. Do not send your password or full payment-card details. We can help investigate but cannot access or change every aspect of a platform account.
Privacy and platform services
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, advertising, analytics, game-service information, purchases and your choices. Agreeing to these Terms does not grant any separate consent that privacy law or platform rules require.
Apple Game Center, Google Play Games, stores, advertising services and websites you choose to open have their own applicable terms. Availability and account controls are managed in part by those providers. Gude Labs remains responsible for its own obligations to you.
Updates, changes and ending use
We may update Maze to fix issues, improve gameplay or respond to platform and legal changes. Device compatibility and optional connected services can change. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes where required and respect any obligations relating to paid features; these Terms do not give us an unrestricted right to remove an already purchased benefit without a remedy required by law.
You may stop using Maze at any time. We may restrict affected services or terminate permission to use them for a material breach, fraud, security concerns or legal requirements, proportionately and with notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate. This does not erase rights or obligations that already arose, or data-retention requirements explained in the Privacy Policy.
Service expectations and legal responsibility
We aim to provide a reliable app, but cannot promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, compatible with every device or free of errors. Keep your device secure and use any available backup options with an understanding of their limits.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without additional promises beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer guarantees, liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or remedies for a failure to provide a paid feature as required by law. We do not impose a blanket waiver of all claims or a mandatory arbitration requirement.
Questions, disputes and changes to these Terms
Contact zach@gudelabs.com if you have a question or dispute. We will try to resolve it fairly. Applicable law determines your legal rights and the competent courts or dispute-resolution bodies; these Terms do not require you to give up a mandatory right to bring a claim where you live.
We may revise these Terms and will update the effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice or acceptance where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove an accrued purchase right or replace a required privacy consent. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
The English and Simplified Chinese versions are intended to have the same meaning. Contact us about any inconsistency; mandatory rights are preserved in either language.
