This policy explains information handling when you use Fullscreen Clock on iPhone, iPad or Android, visit these Fullscreen Clock pages, or contact Gude Labs.
Clock settings and display content are handled on your device. Advertising, analytics, purchases and support can also involve information processed by other services. The details differ between the iOS and Android versions.
At a glance
- Your clock, on your device
- Core features need no separate Gude Labs account. Local settings and display content are separate from analytics and store records.
- Advertising and analytics
- Both platforms integrate Google advertising, Firebase Analytics and Pangle mediation. Advertising choices do not automatically disable all analytics.
- Remove Ads has a specific purpose
- The purchase removes the app’s advertising on the purchased platform. It does not delete previous records or act as a general privacy switch.
Who we are and what this policy covers
Fullscreen Clock is operated by Shenzhen Gude Aipu Technology Co., Ltd (深圳市谷得艾普科技有限公司), under the Gude Labs brand, in Shenzhen, China. We are responsible for the personal information we handle in providing the app. Our privacy contact is zach@gudelabs.com.
This policy applies from the effective date above. Features, permissions and processing may differ by platform, app version, region and device settings. A description of an iOS-only feature does not mean the Android version offers it. This policy does not describe our other apps.
Clock settings and content on your device
Core clock and timing features do not require a separate Gude Labs account. The app uses local settings and state such as display preferences, time format, timer or focus durations, purchase entitlement status and rating-prompt preferences. Some state is saved between launches; other values, including some running timers and display content, exist only in memory.
On iOS, you can select a photo or use the camera for a clock background where that option is available. The selected image is processed and displayed on your device; this feature does not provide a Gude Labs photo-upload or cloud-gallery service. Permission choices determine the photos or camera access available to the app. The current Android version does not provide this photo-selection feature.
Fullscreen Clock does not provide a Gude Labs account-based cloud-sync service for your complete settings or display content. Operating-system backup and restore may preserve some app data according to your device settings. Store purchase records and analytics records are separate from those local settings.
Information processed by connected features
Depending on the feature, platform, configuration and available privacy choices, the app and its providers may process the following information:
- Device and connection information
- IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device and operating-system details, language, app version, app-instance identifiers and permitted advertising or app-scoped identifiers. Advertising SDKs may also process diagnostics and performance information. An approximate location inferred from IP is not the same as access to precise device location.
- App and feature interactions
- App launches, sessions, screen views and interactions, including advertising and Remove Ads purchase-screen activity. On Android, events can also describe clock style, 12/24-hour format, stopwatch use, timer duration and focus/break durations. iOS also records interactions with the Remove Ads experience and advertising rewards. These events help us understand app use and reliability.
- Advertising information and choices
- Ad requests, placements, impressions, interactions, rewarded-ad completion where offered, consent status and choices made through the advertising privacy service. Providers use relevant information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization where permitted.
- Purchases and entitlements
- Product identifiers, transaction or purchase-verification information, purchase/restore status and locally cached entitlement information are used to recognize Remove Ads. Purchase-flow analytics may include product identifiers, entry points, results and error categories. iOS also keeps the state of its temporary advertising-reward period locally.
- Support correspondence
- Your email address, message and any device details, order references, screenshots or attachments you choose to send. Please do not send account passwords, full payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information.
Advertising, analytics and service providers
Both versions integrate Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, Pangle advertising mediation, Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising privacy messages, and Google Analytics for Firebase. The advertising services that operate for a request depend on the region, consent status, availability and configuration.
Advertising providers can receive device, connection, identifier and interaction information directly from your device. Firebase Analytics processes app-instance and event information for app and feature analysis. These services may also process information for their own disclosed purposes under their applicable terms and policies.
An advertising privacy form, Apple’s tracking permission and a Remove Ads entitlement have different purposes. They do not serve as a single switch for every Firebase Analytics event or every item already processed by a service provider. Fullscreen Clock does not currently offer a separate in-app switch that turns off all analytics.
We do not sell your support correspondence or locally selected clock-background images. Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as sharing or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. The choices and rights below apply where available or required. Pangle’s linked directory identifies the applicable end-user policy and controller by region.
Purposes and grounds for processing
Information is used to display clocks and run available timing features, remember preferences, recognize and restore purchases, administer advertising rewards where offered, deliver and measure advertisements, understand feature use, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, improve reliability and security, and meet legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, necessary service and purchase processing supports the service you request; required records may be processed to meet legal obligations; and proportionate support, security and improvement activities may rely on legitimate interests where permitted. Processing that requires consent under applicable law or platform rules requires the relevant consent. This policy is a notice and does not itself grant consent to tracking, personalized advertising or other processing needing a separate choice.
Advertising and device permission choices
When an advertising privacy-options form is available in the app, you can use it to review or change the choices it offers. UMP determines whether a privacy-options entry is required. On iOS, the Privacy control may open that form when required and otherwise open a policy page. Android shows its advertising privacy-settings entry when the consent service requires it.
On iPhone or iPad, tracking permission can be managed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android provides advertising and privacy controls in device settings; names and available options vary by system version. Declining tracking or restricting an identifier does not stop every advertisement, diagnostic event or analytics event. Core clock use does not require permission for cross-app tracking.
On iOS, you can manage Photos and Camera permissions in the device’s app settings. Declining access prevents the corresponding background-image feature from using that source but does not prevent ordinary clock display. Selecting or capturing an image does not give the app permission to upload your photo library.
Advertising choices do not automatically disable all analytics, and Remove Ads is a purchase entitlement rather than a general data-processing opt-out. Contact us to exercise applicable rights concerning information we handle.
Purchases, restoration and advertising rewards
Apple and Google process purchases through their respective stores. The app receives information needed to check the purchase and recognize the entitlement; it does not receive your full payment-card number or store-account password. Purchase restoration uses the relevant store account and store services, with local entitlement information used to remember access.
The iOS version also offers rewarded videos that can grant a locally recorded, time-limited period without interstitial advertisements. This reward is different from the permanent Remove Ads purchase and is not an automatically renewing paid subscription. The Android version’s Remove Ads purchase is separate from the iOS purchase and reward state.
Recognizing Remove Ads suppresses the app’s corresponding advertising placements. It does not automatically erase earlier advertising or analytics records, stop all analytics, or remove transaction records held by Apple or Google. Our Terms explain purchase scope, restoration and remedies.
Website requests, support and external links
These pages are hosted by Vercel. Website requests involve technical information such as IP address, request time, page path and browser or system details for page delivery, security and troubleshooting. Vercel handles relevant information under its service configuration and privacy notice.
When you email zach@gudelabs.com, we and our email service providers handle the information you send to respond and follow up. If you choose to share or send content, the destination you select handles it under its own practices.
App-store links, advertisements and other external links lead to services with their own terms and privacy policies. Review the relevant provider’s information when using those services.
Storage, retention and deletion
Saved local preferences and cached entitlement or reward state generally remain until they are replaced, cleared through available device controls or removed with app data. In-memory state may disappear when the app is closed or its process ends. Device backup and restore can preserve or restore some data; manage those backups separately. Clearing local data is not a request to erase a store purchase record.
We retain support correspondence and other information under our control only as long as needed for the stated purposes, including handling requests and meeting applicable transaction, security or legal requirements. We delete or anonymize it when no longer needed. Retention depends on the information and purpose; there is no single period for every record.
Advertising, analytics, store and hosting records have separate settings and provider policies. Uninstalling the app or buying Remove Ads does not automatically delete information already sent to those services. Contact us about data processed on our behalf; independently controlled provider data may also require use of that provider’s controls. We may need further information to locate a record and cannot identify every provider record from an email address alone.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy or portability of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of applicable targeted advertising or sharing, and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email zach@gudelabs.com with “Fullscreen Clock privacy” in the subject. Include your platform, app version and a description of the information or choice concerned. We may request information reasonably needed to verify and handle the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, explain any lawful limitations, and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
There is no separate Fullscreen Clock account with Gude Labs to delete. Local app data, support correspondence, analytics identifiers and Apple or Google purchase records are different categories with different controls. We will explain any identification or retention limits relevant to your request.
Security, disclosures and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information we handle to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure or loss. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and store accounts, and avoid sending sensitive credentials in support messages.
Our operator is based in Shenzhen, China. Apple, Google, Pangle, hosting and email providers may process information in countries where they or their providers operate. Applicable contractual or other lawful safeguards are used where required. You can contact us about safeguards for information under our control; provider policies explain their international processing.
Information may also be disclosed where legally required, to address fraud or security threats, or to protect lawful rights, subject to applicable limits. If a business transfer affects information we control, required notice and safeguards will apply; it does not authorize an undisclosed new use.
Children and guardians
Fullscreen Clock includes advertising and optional purchases. Parents and guardians should review the app, privacy choices, device permissions, store-account settings and purchase controls before a child uses it. A store content rating is not consent to personal-information processing or a purchase.
Where applicable law requires guardian involvement or consent, that involvement or consent is required. If you believe a child’s information has been collected or retained improperly, contact zach@gudelabs.com. We will investigate and take the steps required by law, including stopping improper processing and deleting information under our control where appropriate. Please avoid sending unnecessary information about a child.
Policy updates
We will update this page and its effective date when practices materially change, and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required before new processing begins. Continued use does not replace consent where consent is required.
The English and Simplified Chinese versions are intended to describe the same policy. Contact us about unclear or inconsistent wording. A translation does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
